Fort Lauderdale, Florida – March 29, 2021 — LPL Solar LLC has added Gregory Thompson to its Leadership Team as its Director of Safety. of Safety. In this role, Greg has responsibility for the adaptation and implementation of corporate safety policies, programs, and procedures. He will coordinate and implement safety programs with all Vice Presidents, Project Executives, and their site management teams. In addition, he will perform project site safety audits to ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA and customer-specified requirements.
Gregory has 33 years of experience as a safety professional, with 15 GW of utility power plant construction experience. His responsibilities include developing and implementing corporate safety policies, programs, and procedures, as he previously did at other leading construction firms. Greg has experience in implementing behavioral-based safety programs and video training initiatives, making it easy for associates to participate fully in the safety program.
He is affiliated with the American Society of Safety Engineers, American National Standards Institute, National Safety Council, National Fire Protection Association, and the West Central Florida Safety Alliance (An OSHA Alliance Group).
